A note from Kim -The Travelling Kitchen

After many years working as a Doctor, I decided to follow my passion and start my own private chef business. I´ve been incredibly fortunate to travel to so many corners of the world, learning new skills in amazing kitchens and volunteering in exchange for recipes and techniques.

Now, I am able to bring together all of those experiences- along with my own creative twist creating exciting, nutritious menus for all to enjoy. I feel truly grateful to cook for such wonderful people in so many beautiful locations. Combining my two passions in life, makes me smile every day knowing that the Travelling Kitchen is just, me!!”

With over 25 years of yoga practice and 18 years of teaching experience, Lisa Thompson brings profound wisdom to our retreat through her unique fusion of Iyengar and Ashtanga Vinyasa traditions. Her extensive qualifications and international accreditation in Vedantic meditation allow her to weave together precise alignment, dynamic flow, and deep spiritual awareness into each session.

Lisa’s transformative breathwork sessions introduce you to the powerful practice of conscious connected breathing—a gentle yet profound technique that involves continuous, rhythm-based breathing without pauses. The villa is located in Mijas Golf, easily accessible from Málaga Airport.  Transfers to and from Malaga airports is included.

While each day varies, we balance structured activities with free time. A typical day includes:

Absolutely! Many of our guests come solo and leave with lifelong friendships. In fact we really do encourage it.
